Happy Hauntings Brings Friendly Ghoulish Fun to Dutch Wonderland
(Lancaster, PA) – From two "Roller Ghosters" to the new "Trick-or-Treat Turtle Whirl" to "Corn Shock Alley," Happy Hauntings brings family-friendly fun to Dutch Wonderland for three weekends in October.
In its 10th year, Happy Hauntings features more than 20 themed rides, including the "Scareeeee-Go-Round," the "Bat Swing," and the "Witchie Whip". Royal guests can also trick-or-treat, paint a pumpkin, play ghoulish games and enjoy spine-tingling treats. Entertainment for Happy Hauntings includes magic shows, interactive theater and storytelling with the Princess and Knight of Dutch Wonderland.
Every Friday night, families can participate in a special costume contest with prizes for the Spookiest, Most Creative, Best Stroller/Wagon or Best Family Participation. Each night also has a special themed category! For October 12, the special theme is Best Harry Potter costume, October 19 is Best Dutch Wonderland Themed costume and for October 26, the special category is Best Hannah Montana costume. Be creative and have fun!
Happy Hauntings is open October 12-14, 19-21, and 26-28. Hours are Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 4 to 9 p.m. Admission is $16.95 per person. Parking is free.
