Hershey Nursery Awarded Top Honors for Landscaping at Dutch Wonderland
(Lancaster, PA) – The Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association awarded Hershey Nursery the Gold Award for Excellence in Landscaping for its work at Dutch Wonderland. The Awards in Landscape Excellence serve as a benchmark of excellence in the landscape industry. This program recognizes and honors the professionals responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of professional-quality residential and commercial landscape projects and recognizes quality retail displays, trade show and garden show displays, and display gardens.
Each spring, Hershey Nursery plants more than 50 different varieties of annuals and more than 55,000 total annuals at Dutch Wonderland. The team also plants more than 120 hanging baskets. In addition, the Nursery mulches, mows and weeds the 43 acres of Dutch Wonderland.
This is the fourth year in a row that the Nursery has won the Gold Award for Excellence in Landscaping through the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association. In previous years the Nursery has won the award for work at Hersheypark, Hershey Lodge, The Hotel Hershey and Hershey's Chocolate World.
