Dutch Winter Wonderland Is a Holiday Treat
Magical Lights, Hot Chocolate, Polar Playground, Santa Claus and More!

(Lancaster, PA) – Bundle up and celebrate the holiday season with a special trip to Dutch Winter Wonderland! For six magical weeks, Dutch Wonderland will be transformed into a truly royal Dutch Winter Wonderland.

The celebration will start its seventh season on November 21 at 5 p.m. The events features both outdoor and indoor activities, including rides, games, light shows, a Polar Playground, visits with Santa, storytelling with the Princess and Knight of Dutch Wonderland, gift shopping and Gingerbread House contests. Guests can also meet two of Santa's reindeer-in-training!

On its grand opening evening, Dutch Wonderland and the Boys & Girls Club will co-host a Toys for Tots drive benefiting the children of Lancaster City. Every guest who brings a new, unwrapped toy donation on November 21 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. will receive one free admission to Dutch Winter Wonderland.

New this year is the Dutch Winter Wonderland Royal Light Show. Guests will be mesmerized by thousands of twinkling lights choreographed to a perfect holiday soundtrack. The Royal Light Show will use the latest lighting technology, LED lights.

"They offer a 90 to 98 percent energy savings and 10 times the operating life," says Bob Smith, Assistant Director of Maintenance. Shows are approximately 10 minutes in length and begin every 20 minutes starting at 5 p.m.

Each night, guests can also enjoy special performances from Marian and Friends, a mother-and-daughter ventriloquist act. Their memorable message will be played out through comedy, music and audience participation.

Dutch Winter Wonderland is open Friday through Sunday nights from November 21 through December 30. Hours are Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 4 to 9 p.m. Dutch Winter Wonderland is also open on Monday, December 29 and Tuesday, December 30 from 5-9 p.m. Admission is $9.95 per person.
