Special Entertainment and Fireworks scheduled for Celebration
Lancaster, PA -- Saturday, June 1, 2013 is the day that Dutch Wonderland has designated to commemorate its 50th Anniversary. The Park celebration will include special entertainment by local children’s musician, Jim Rule as well as a spectacular fireworks display at Park closing.
In addition to the special entertainment and fireworks, a limited number of lucky guests visiting the Park that day will receive a special commemorative pin. “We are very proud to be here for 50 years and look at this event as way to take one day and celebrate that achievement with our guests,” said Rick Stammel, General Manager. Although the Park’s actual 50th Anniversary was Monday, May 20, the celebration was scheduled so the community would have a chance to share in the festivities. “We chose June 1 because it’s the first Saturday after Memorial Day (the unofficial start of summer) allowing more families to travel to us and join this celebration,” Stammel said.
Dutch Wonderland will be open daily beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, then weekends through October. Admission prices are $36.75* for Royalty (ages 3-59), $31.75* for Senior Royalty (ages 60-69) and $23.75* for Senior Plus Royalty (ages 70 and over). Royalty-In-Training (ages 2 and under) are free. *All admissions are subject to additional Amusement Tax.
